The Dread March

The Dread March are undead with an unknown purpose. They consist of knights brought back from the beyond riding atop undead elephants that have obsidian bones (Obsidian elephants), followed by shadow mastiffs, abducting people for their dark magics and rituals.

Their origin is unknown but they are thought to be from the Nightmare realm.

They appear at dusk and disappear with the rising sun. Local legends and myths often consider them to be the ones that bring and take away the nighttime darkness or are the harbingers of night.
